Khetanya Henderson

She has made a name for herself on both coasts as one of the best group class instructors around. Her classes are high energy, athletic, personable and just in every way fantastic.

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Khetanya’s passion for fitness began with her love for acting, dance and music. She began her fitness career in New York City, working amongst the city’s top celebrity trainers before moving to the west coast.

She has taught formats such as Dance Cardio, Trampoline, Sculpt, Pilates, HITT, TRX, Barre and Boot Camp. In her classes and private sessions, you can expect challenging sequences that will build endurance, strength and lean muscles. She plays a variety of dance and sing along jams from top 40 to hip hop to old school R&B that will energize and motivate you. These elements combined make her Pilates fusion class creative, challenging, and a party in the best way.

When she is not energizing her clients, she is acting on stage and television. Khetanya holds an MFA in Acting Performance, and you'll recognize her as a frequent face in commercials for brands like Peloton and Target.

Her journey with Pilates began during her dancing days when she used the format to keep her body balanced and in top shape for shows like Cirque du Soleil’s Love Show and while on tour dancing with several different New York based companies. Pilates has been a constant practice for her and when the opportunity to participate in the Speir Teacher Training program was presented, she was more than excited to bring her practice and passion for Pilates to life. Upon completion, she has joined the family of wonderful instructors and couldn’t be more excited to bring her energy to the community of Speir.
